1. AFRICAN AND EUROPEAN SOUND WORLDS: XYLOPHONWORKSHOP FOR CHILDREN
Children represent the future of our world. It is therefore necessary to raise awareness on and interest in cultural diversity or difference, especially among young children for broadening horizons and for the good of our society. This is done according to the motto “The sooner the better.” The workshop is designed for children from 4 to 8 years. Children are made acquainted with this charming african musical instrument as well as with other artistically constructed musical instruments in a playful way.
You can invite us in your facility or facilities (kindergarten, nursery, school or club). We are happy to come by. We can manage up to 25 children.

2. READINGS
Texts are read from a different repertoire of children’s books and short stories of European and African authors. The readings will be accompanied musically by a drummer or xylophonist. The purpose of these readings is to raise awareness and interest for cultural diversity among young children from 4 to 12 years in a playful way. This is done according to the motto “the sooner the better”. The books to be read are adapted to the age of the attending children.
